Our Mission
TCS strives to change the perceptions of individuals with disabilities in the workforce, not by marketing and public relations campaigns, by having them work in integrated settings where their value, productivity, commitment and dedication can be experienced by all. TCS is extremely proud of its mission and contribution in providing employment to individuals with disabilities.
We have also been recognized and honored with OPWDD’s Works for Me, 2014 Medium Business Employer of the Year and have received NYSID’s Agency of the Year Award in the past. We are not an organization that is complacent with our accomplishments and is comfortable with where we are. We realize that growth means life changing jobs and benefits for individuals with disabilities and their families. This is what drives us!
Our Story
The Corporate Source (TCS) was established in 1996 as a not-for- profit corporation to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This is accomplished through the development of outsourcing contracts with the government and the private sector. We have come to realize that our business model provides stability and oversight of our workforce and insures the quality and delivery of services that our customers have grown to expect from us. Through these contracts TCS provides services throughout New York City, Long Island, Albany, New Jersey, as well as in Puerto Rico and the USVI.
TCS employs nearly 400 individuals and operates in over 100 geographically dispersed locations. TCS’s lines of business include: janitorial, landscaping, warehouse, switchboard operations, kennel care, mailroom operations, administrative and office support, messenger and attendant positions to name a few.

Our Philosophy
Whether it is a contract for one person or a Total Facilities Management contract with over 30 employees, TCS’s mission is to provide well-paying steady and secure jobs. The nature of our work requires us to recruit the best individuals for our contracts and to ensure that our workforce is the most talented and well trained, committed and capable available. We actively recruit from a wide range of community and state resources.
Through our Talent Acquisition and Vocational Rehabilitation areas we assess, train and support all our employees and work towards their success.
